What is SoftFab?
Boxing Beetles SoftFab is an easy-to-use, expandable framework for building and testing software, including embedded software. SoftFab initiates and monitors (parallel) executions and evaluates the results of software builds and tests. What’s more, in a multi-site project, it enables colleagues to share equipment, licenses, test scripts, test data and reports. And because SoftFab can use existing tools and test scripts, it has a very low entry threshold, which means it’s easy to get started. And very easy to stay on track with development deadlines.
Fast, easy automated testing of software using off-the-shelf and/or proprietary tools, reducing development costs and time-to-market and enhancing quality of new products.
The result – faster, easier more reliable software testing.
Take the headache out of software development
Testing of embedded software is a labour-intensive, time-consuming process that requires expert knowledge of the test tools being used. SoftFab eliminates the headaches of testing by bringing to the process all the benefits of a modern, fully-automated factory. A factory whose infrastructure consists of a collection of equipment and processes that facilitates automatic builds and tests on new code – all initiated, monitored and evaluated through a familiar web browser or API. SoftFab automates the test process by chaining the test tools, both off-the-shelf and proprietary, all under control of the same user interface, and making the test reports fully accessible to the user. Which means expert knowledge of the individual tools isn’t needed.
